Mr. Doug Bartole of Calgary, Alberta is the President and CEO of Vero Energy Inc., a title which he has held since the company’s inception in September, 2005. From 2001 to 2005 Mr. Bartole held various positions with True Energy with his latest being Vice President, Operations. From 1997 to 2000 Mr. Bartole held various positions with Renaissance Energy Ltd. which subsequently became a part of Husky Oil Ltd. During his tenure he increased his overall responsibilities with ultimate direction of an area of 30,000 boe/d. Prior Mr. Bartole worked with Pan Canadian Petroleum since 1992 and prior thereto held various operational positions with major and junior oil and gas companies. He received a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1992 and a diploma in Petroleum Technology from SAIT in 1986. He is currently a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta and the Petroleum Society of CIM. |
